Akintunde Babatunde

Akintunde Babatunde is a Programme Manager with extensive experience in international development, public policy, civic technology, climate change, and media innovation. He is the Director of Programs at the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) and the OCRI regional coordinator for Anglophone Africa.

Akintunde is a sought-after speaker, having delivered presentations on Africa’s media innovation and development policy at notable institutions such as the European Parliament, the New York Times Climate Hub, the University of London, and the Presidential Precinct. His commentary has also been featured on renowned media platforms including the BBC, Channels TV, TVC, Silverbird, and NTA, among others.
