Guy Porter

Guy Porter comes from a background of data analysis and research. He is a former anti-disinformation researcher for Avaaz where he investigated and identified bot accounts, bot farms, trolls, and fake news operations on social media platforms in the lead up to the April 2019 EU elections. He’s just finished studying part-time for an MA/MSc Digital Journalism at Goldsmiths University and freelances, doing social media analysis and investigative work for clients that include the International Committee of the Red Cross, Luminate, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation and Unitaid.
