The Source Protection Programme (SPP) delivers both charitable and bespoke programmes. You can find out more about our work below.
Charitable
SPP is supported by grant funding in order to provide free access to safety training opportunities for investigative journalists, freelancers, fixers and newsroom managers. This is done through open calls and by working directly with other organisations and non-profit newsrooms around the world.

Bespoke
Alongside our charitable work we offer a bespoke service for commercial newsrooms. These programmes are developed alongside our clients and are tailored to their specific needs. Any profits made undertaking this work are reinvested into our charitable programmes and help us to train journalists who do not have well resourced organisational support.
If you would like to discuss a programme for your organisation please contact info@tcij.org
