The Source Protection Programme (SPP) is a unique operational and information security training course, delivered online through hands-on practical training sessions and interactive resources. The programme is developed and delivered by the Centre for Investigative Journalism and the Freedom of The Press Foundation with generous support from The Reva & David Logan Foundation.

Since launching in 2021 SPP has trained more than 2000 journalists, in over 65 countries on 6 continents. We are continually updating our materials to tackle the big challenges facing the profession such as covering increasingly dangerous election cycles, reporting on border violence and being faced with state intimidation and corporate malfeasance. Our work varies in scope and scale, if you would like more information please contact: info@tcij.org
