Fernanda Wenzel
She is an investigative reporter and works as a freelancer. Specializing in the environment and the Amazon, she has had stories published by outlets such as Unearthed, Mongabay, Repórter Brasil, Agência Pública, ((o))eco, Folha de São Paulo, The Guardian, BBC Brasil and CNN International. In 2022, she produced the series Ladrões de Floresta for The Intercept Brasil as a fellow of the Pulitzer Center’s Rainforest Investigation Network. She was the creator and screenwriter of the documentary BR Acima de Tudo, which deals with the project to build a road over one of the most preserved areas of the Amazon.
