Sineia do Vale
Indigenous of the Wapichana people, Serra da Lua region, in Roraima, she is currently the National Coordinator of the Indigenous Committee on Climate Change (CIMC). She also works as an environmental manager and coordinator of the Department of Territorial and Environmental Management of the Indigenous Council of Roraima (CIR). In 2021, she was the only Brazilian to speak at the Leaders’ Climate Summit in the United States. For more than ten years, she has followed climate discussions at the international level of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

A four-day, in-person training by the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism (Abraji) on the coverage of climate and environmental advocacy issues holding in Belém, Pará, the Brazilian city that will host the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 30) in 2025.
