Carolina Dantas
Carolina is a journalist specialised in science journalism and has established two areas of interest: environment, with a special focus on the Amazon, and health since 2016. She has more than a decade of experience in large newsrooms, such as Folha de S.Paulo, g1 and TV Globo and she is currently the editor and coordinator of the PlenaMata project by InfoAmazonia and the Einstein News Agency.

Climate Data Laboratory
The Open Knowledge Brasil (OKBR) is holding a two-day hands-on laboratory focused on interrogating climate change data under the Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI) partnership with the CIJ. At least 15 journalists from Alma Preta, a media outlet focused on presenting the possibility of a less violent and unequal society through objective information, will be trained in how to gather, analyse and visualise data as well as how to generate datasets from the territory and with intersectional cut-outs.

Training in environmental and climate journalism
A four-day, in-person training by the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism (Abraji) on the coverage of climate and environmental advocacy issues holding in Belém, Pará, the Brazilian city that will host the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 30) in 2025.
