Roxanne Joseph

Roxanne Joseph is a data journalist based in Cape Town, South Africa. Her focus is on digitally-enabled wildlife trafficking and illicit financial flow. She manages the Oxpeckers tool, #WildEye, and has trained journalists in Africa, Europe and Asia to map, track and report on wildlife and other environmental crimes. In 2018, she was awarded the Vodacom Journalist of the Year regional award (Western Cape) under the data category.
