Maxence Peigné

Maxence is a French journalist based in London for the cross-border co-operative Investigate Europe. He has worked on in-depth investigations into multinationals such as care home leader Orpea and oil giant Perenco. His research revealed financial wrongdoing that led to official probes into corruption and money laundering. Before joining IE, he worked for outlets such as France Télévision, Radio France and the BBC World Service. In 2019, he received the “Reporter D’espoir” Solutions Journalism award for his coverage of homelessness in Finland.
