Jessica Aldred

Jessica is an environmental journalist with experience spanning more than two decades in major newsrooms in the U.K. and Australia including The Times, ITV, The Independent, ABC, The Age, and Channel Seven. She is currently the Ocean editor at Pulitzer Center where she runs its ocean reporting fellowships and grants program launched in 2023. Her previous stints include the special projects editor at China Dialogue Trust (now Dialogue Earth) for four years and 16 years at The Guardian, London, with 10 years as a deputy environment editor.
