Dr. Ahmed Essmat

Dr. Essmat is a researcher in media technology and digital transformation, as well as the Executive Director of the Alexandria Media Forum. In 2006, he founded the magazine “Alex Agenda,” which covers cultural, artistic, and social events in Alexandria, with a particular interest in business entrepreneurs, professionally in both Arabic and English. In addition, he co-founded the “Amwaj Alexandria” newspaper and “El-Raml Radio Station” in 2013. He also founded the Alexandria Media Forum, a regional Arab forum interested in developing media communities and addressing media development and technology issues.
