Anna Bureiko

Anna Bureiko is an International Communications Manager at YouControl. She has more than eight years of experience as a Ukrainian journalist. During the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Anna used her expertise in information and fact-checking to raise international awareness about Ukraine.

As an expert, she joined the public organisation Open Data Association, which has a strategic partnership with the Ukrainian IT company YouControl. The organisation uses digital tools based on open data to identify and freeze Russian assets and to detect Russian businesses abroad, particularly through the YC World platform.

Anna is also a PhD student at Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), in the field of Communication and Information. She holds an MA in Journalism from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where she studied at the Institute of Journalism. She also earned a BA in Journalism from Zaporizhzhya National University.

She is an alumna of the UK–Ukraine TechBridge Investment Accelerator (2025) and the LEADx Accelerator (2023).
