Theodore A. Postol

Theodore A. Postol is Professor Emeritus of Science, Technology, and National Security Policy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has also worked at Stanford University, as a technical and Policy Advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations, as an analyst on nuclear weapons systems for the Congress of the United States, and as a member of the science research staff at Argonne National Laboratory. He has received awards from the American Physical Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility, The German Federation of Scientists, The Committee for the Republic, and the Federation of American Scientists. He is also the recipient of the Joe A. Callaway Award for Civic Courage.
