Chris Masters
Chris Masters worked as an investigative reporter on ABC TV’s Four Corners program from 1983-2010, and was responsible for many nation-shaping reports, including The Big League in 1983, which triggered the NSW Street Royal Commission, and the Moonlight State report on police corruption in Queensland which prompted the Fitzgerald Inquiry.
He produced three television features for the ABC and Network Ten on Australian military operations in Afghanistan. He is the author of six books, the latest Flawed Hero, the story of Ben Roberts-Smith VC. Chris and Nick McKenzie unmasked the war hero as a war criminal. In June 2023, following ‘the defamation trial of the century’, Justice Anthony Besanko of Australia’s Federal Court, ruled in their favour.
