Bernardo Loureiro
Bernardo is a data scientist and urban planner who joined Trase in 2021 and he leads the development of the internal and external data visualisation tools. Before joining Trase, he worked as a freelance data scientist and developer for NGOs, government, academic institutions and private companies. Bernardo has experience in communicating complex data insights in an accessible and engaging way. He holds a master’s degree in Design and Urban Ecologies from Parsons The New School (2016) and a bachelor’s degree from the University of São Paulo (Architecture and Urban Planning, 2013).

Maps and climate workshop
As part of Coda.BR Conference, Open Knowledge Brasil is holding in partnership with the Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI/CIJ) a workshop about maps and climate change. Class duration: 1.30 hours This workshop will explore geographical data on agriculture and visualise environmental indicators, such as deforestation rates and greenhouse gas emissions, using Python and online tools to analyse the data and create maps.
