OCRI feature through five sessions at #CodaBr2023

OCRI is at the 8th edition of the Brazilian Conference on Data Journalism and Digital Methods (Coda.Br) in partnership with Open Knowledge Brasil (OKBR) as part of activities planned for Year Two in the form of four training workshops and a panel talk. The workshops are: Scientific data and research on climate adaptation, Green shields and conflicts in the Amazon: Mapping territories and land use, Maps and climate workshop and Investigating municipal public policies on climate and the environment with the Climate Diary.

The panel talk will bring together voices from science, journalism and civil society to address the challenges for data-driven journalistic coverage and advocacy on climate issues that consider the inequalities in Brazil and the Global South in a larger context.

Known as the main data journalism event in Latin America, the 8th edition of the Brazilian Conference on Data Journalism and Digital Methods (Coda.Br) holds 18 and 19 November 2023 on the Álvaro Alvim Campus, São Paulo. It features tracks of workshops, panels, keynote, flash presentation sessions as well as networking opportunities for participants.
