Cynthia O’Murchu

Cynthia O’Murchu is an investigative reporter at the Financial Times focusing on financial wrongdoing and corporate fraud. Her work focuses on unravelling complex financial money flows, often using public records and open source methods. She was part of the team that won politics and the investigation awards at the British Journalism Awards, as well as the Paul Foot award for reporting on Greensill Capital and served as a producer on two Wincott nominated documentary films. She was previously deputy editor of the FT’s interactive team, where she specialized in multi-media and using data to find stories.
