Bilingual resource pack with #PowerTracker Mozambique findings and sources

Under the Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI), Oxpeckers Investigative Environmental Journalism has launched a resource pack about #PowerTracker: Investigating renewable energy across Mozambique.

The document, in English and Portuguese, brings the sources and findings regarding two webinars about how to investigate renewable energy in Mozambique and three investigations published in 2023. There are also links to the training sessions and lessons acquired by the journalists involved.

Following the first iteration launched in 2022 as part of OCRI Anglophone Africa, the 2023 iteration of the #PowerTracker programme culminated in a series of data-driven investigations by Mozambique journalists after receiving in-depth training. It was created and run by Oxpeckers with the support of the Centre for Investigative Journalism’s OCRI.
