Time Travel for Beginners: How to Create and Use Web Archives. Hands-on.

Hands-on.

Ever relied upon an online source, only later to find it deleted or changed? Ever wanted to travel back in time? This class will cover the next best thing: web archives. We’ll look at getting the most out of resources like the Wayback Machine — what they’re good for, and what they’re not. We’ll then look at when to build your own private archives of web content, and go hands-on to create our own archive with an easy-to-use tool.

No prior knowledge is required.
