Harry Shukman: Undercover in the British far right
Harry Shukman spent more than a year infiltrating far-right groups for a Channel 4 Documentary.
From canvassing with Britain First to befriending Holocaust deniers, neo-Nazis and a Silicon Valley-backed race-science organisation, Shukman again and again risked his safety and sanity to remove the far right’s terrifyingly everyday mask.
He comes to to the CIJ to will deliver the 10th annual Gavin MacFadyen Memorial Lecture this year.

Harry Shukman is a researcher at HOPE not hate, an anti-fascist organisation. He spent more than a year infiltrating far-right groups, working with a Channel 4 documentary. Harry has been a reporter for The Times in London and a writer/editor at Mill Media, including its websites in Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield.
