#CIJSummer and UK General Election: Changes to the Timetable

We have made some minor changes to the timetable on Thu 4 July to allow more time for people to cast their votes in the UK General Election.

The conference will start a bit later: 10am instead of 9:30am.
The talks on the day will also finish a bit earlier: 6pm instead of 6:30pm.
This is to allow people to vote.

The polling stations open at 7am and close at 10pm on Thu 4 July 2024.
If you do not think you will have enough time to vote on the day, we recommend you register for a postal or a proxy vote.
The deadline for online applications for a postal vote is 5pm on the 19th of June 2024.
The deadline for registering to vote by proxy is 5pm on the 26th June 2024.

We look forward to welcoming you at #CIJSummer Investigative Journalism Conference 2024!
