Archive of Tomorrow Project

The National Library of Scotland has been collecting information from the open web, alongside the other legal deposit libraries of the UK, as part of the web archive project.

This session will begin with a short history of the web archive, before covering how to find information within it and how to archive sites there, including your own.

The archive is available at, where it is possible to browse the collection and check for archived versions of websites.

Eilidh MacGlone

Eilidh MacGlone has supported National Library of Scotland curators in collecting the online aspects of Scotland’s public sphere into the web archive since 2014. This has included Scottish news sites, Scottish government and more recently, the Talking about Health collections.
