Priyanka Kotamraju

Priyanka Kotamraju is pursuing a doctorate degree at the Department of Sociology in the University of Cambridge on the Gates Cambridge international scholarship. She is the co-author of The Murderer, the Monarch and the Fakir – a new investigation into Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination (October 2021, HarperCollins India). She is also one of the co-founders of Chitrakoot Collective, and will be translating Meera Devi’s autobiography into English. Priyanka has previously worked as a journalist with the Indian Express, Hindu Business Line and Khabar Lahariya.

Gavin MacFadyen Memorial Lecture: Meera Jatav

Meera Jatav, a journalist based in Uttar Pradesh in India comes to London and the CIJ to deliver the annual Gavin MacFadyen memorial lecture. The co-founder of the award-winning, grassroots feminist media organisation Khabar Lahariya, Jatav has won a reputation for her courageous investigations into gender-based violence and caste in India.
