Antonia Cundy

Antonia Cundy is a multi award-winning special investigations reporter at the Financial Times, focused on exposing abuses of power. Before joining the FT in 2022, Antonia worked as a freelance foreign correspondent and investigative reporter. In 2022, she won the Marie Colvin Award at the British Journalism Awards for her freelance war reportage from Ukraine, and was also awarded Newcomer of the Year at the Free Press Awards.

Her investigations at the FT have won her multiple accolades. In 2023, she won Best Investigative News Article at the Anti-Slavery Day Awards for an exposé into modern slavery in the UK fishing industry; in 2024, her investigation with Madison Marriage and Paul Caruana Galizia into sexual abuse by financier Crispin Odey won Scoop of the Year at the British Press Awards, was highly commended for Investigation of the Year, and was shortlisted for the Private Eye Paul Foot Award.

Cundy was also awarded Young Journalist of the Year at the 2024 Harold Wincott Awards for business, economic and financial journalism.
