Workshop on Climate Change Reporting

An advanced training workshop by the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) on climate and environmental reporting for Arab journalists providing both theoretical and practical hands-on training on various environmental issues within the MENA region. The workshop is divided into two components. The first part tackles climate change topics while the second part of the workshop focuses on developing hypotheses about climate journalism and developing the stories on which the participants are working.

Class duration: 3 days

The training will provide participants with relevant climate change literacy knowledge and solutions from the region as well as analysing practical examples on several themes such as exporting solar energy and green hydrogen, reducing gas flaring, managing water scarcity and so on.
