Workshop: Investigating municipal public policies through the ‘Climate Diary’

The Open Knowledge Brasil will run a workshop during Coda Amazonia about investigating climate change by interrogating Municipal Public Policies. The activity is one of the first actions of #DiárioDoClima, an initiative of OKBR with seven other organisations, that will help journalists and communicators follow climate-related actions by monitoring publications in the official gazettes of municipalities.

Duration: 2 hours

The workshop, in which participants will learn how to use the tool, integrates the Conference on Data Journalism and Digital Methods, Coda Amazônia, the local version of the Brazilian Conference on Data Journalism and Digital Methods (Coda.Br), Latin America’s leading data journalism event.

Coda Amazônia takes place between 31 August and 1 September in Belém (Pará), and on 2 September on Marajó Island, also in the state of Pará. The Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI) will be present at five activities.

Registration can be done here until 25 August.
