Islamabad: Training on climate change storytelling

The last of 3 regional two-day training workshops in Pakistan by Media Unlimited will hold for professional and citizen journalists in Islamabad following the successful completion of the first and second workshops in Karachi and Quetta respectively.

Class duration: 2 days

Participants will be taken through several modules that builds their capacity in understanding climate models to guide reporting, executing climate investigations, data-driven storytelling, as well as telling the story for hyperlocal, local, regional and international audiences. Trainers will also explore the multilayered areas of climate change reporting that includes human safety, food security, impact on livelihoods, disaster preparedness, adaptation and mitigation, innovation and technology, resilient infrastructure, climate finance, climate and gender, climate refugees and migrants, disease burden and policies and practice.
