Fundacion Gabo & CIJ – Second OCRI Webinar

The second webinar, organised by the Centre for Investigative Journalism and Fundacion Gabo as part of the Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI), took place on Thursday 21 July, on ‘Digital Tools for Investigations on Climate Change’.

Gustavo Faleiros, a journalist with a long experience on environmental reporting and co-founder of InfoAmazonia , was in charge of delivering the last of two open Webinars hosted by Fundacion Gabo. He focused on Satellite data (e.g. NASA’s Earth Observatory and Worldview, as well as Resource Watch), and on environmental data (e.g. IPCC Interactive Atlas).

At least 90 people watched this Webinar on YouTube live, and the recording is available online.

The first open Webinar, ‘Planning an Investigation on Climate Change’, took place on 19 July 2022.

Both Webinars served as preparation for the in-person Workshop that will be carried out in Mexico City for 14 journalists, between 31 August and 2 September, about ‘Investigative Journalism on Climate Change’ and will delivered by Glòria Pallarès.
