Participants from 11 countries for workshop on Climate Change Investigative Journalism announced

One of CIJ’s LATAM partners on the Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI), Fundación Gabo, has announced the 14 journalists participating in the three-day workshop on ‘Investigative Journalism on Climate Change’, taking place from 31 August to 2 September 2022, in Mexico City.

The workshop will be led by Glòria Pallarès, journalist and Fellow 2021-2022 of the Rainforest Investigations Network (RIN) at the Pulitzer Center.

The 14 participants from 11 Latin American countries were chosen out of 160 applications submitted, and will be receiving training and sharing their own experiences. The cohort is composed of reporters whose capabilities in reporting environmental issues and public policy is already very promising, and with a great potential to have a wide impact.
