OCRI now covers 8 countries in Francophone Africa
The CIJ’s Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI) will now be implemented across 8 countries in Francophone Africa.
Joining the initial three partners covering 7 countries is Ajebudi-Yaga, a leading innovative and young-led media organisation in Burundi. They now join the OCRI project as the 4th Francophone Africa partner, adding the East African country as the 8th beneficiary country.
Ajebudi-Yaga with experience in innovative media approaches to advocacy, will focus its action in capacity building of the media, community media, on the theme of climate change, in order to improve and increase the treatment of topics related to climate change with the aim of raising national awareness which will place this theme at the center of the public debate.
