Climate Investigations Training Scholarship for 18 Journalists
The Centre for Investigative Journalism (CIJ) is delighted to announce the award of climate investigations training scholarships to 18 deserving journalists from 12 countries under its global Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI). The scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to either attend in London the CIJ Summer Conference 2025 holding 26-27 June 2025 including an OCRI Focus Day event on 25 June or fully participate in one of two remaining online Climate Investigations Course (CIC) scheduled training that entails 23 hours of hands-on training in four modules.
Launched in January, the second run of the CIC will hold online on Zoom between July and September while the third will run between October and December. The recipients are from the regions OCRI has reached as we continue to equip journalists with the skills, tools, and techniques needed to conduct deep investigative research into climate change.
