CIJ and ARIJ partner on OCRI

The Centre for Investigative Journalism (CIJ) is partnering the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) in implementing the Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for year two. Through the Strengthening Climate Change Reporting in the MENA Region intervention which targets journalists from all 16 Arab countries, ARIJ will build the capacity of Investigative Journalists by enhancing their skills and knowledge in climate and environmental reporting.

The planned activities that will be implemented over nine months include: thematic training workshop for Arab investigative journalists, facilitating participation at ARIJ’s 16th annual forum and the publishing of quality investigative reports on climate change issues in the MENA region.
