Call for Applications: Climate Investigations Course for South Asian Journalists

DataLEADS, in partnership with the CIJ, is accepting applications from South Asian journalists for a four-day intensive training workshop on the Climate Investigations Course (CIC), scheduled for November 2024 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

This course is part of the Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI) activities, designed to help South Asian journalists gain an understanding of how to report effectively on climate change and create compelling cross-border stories through a hands-on practical story lab workshop approach. Following the workshop, some selected journalists will collaborate over several months to produce and publish impactful investigative pieces on climate change.

Journalists from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Sri Lanka are eligible to apply for this course.

The application deadline is September 1, 2024.
