Data Journalism Courses – Spring 2021
Having sold out all previous versions of our new Online Data Journalism courses, we were eager to make some new dates available as soon as possible to meet the demand.
The course is just brilliantly designed. Everything is useful.
The process of translating our training from in-person to a remote online format posed a lot of questions – primarily how to do this without losing the hands-on and practical nature of the courses that makes them so effective. Judging by their popularity and the feedback they are receiving, our team and the expert trainers in our network have found the right answers to these questions.

So for the springtime of this new and hopefully brighter year ahead, we’re not only making more dates for ‘Finding Stories with Data’ available, but we’re now also launching online versions of our more advanced data journalism training courses: ‘Data-Driven Investigations’ and ‘Investigating Data with R’.
In their in-person classroom incarnations, these were some of our most popular courses ever and we hope the work we’ve been doing over the winter break to get them up and running online will prove time well spent. Both courses have been translated, trialled, refined and trialled again and we’re now very happy to open bookings for them.
To celebrate having ‘Data-Driven Investigations’ back on our timetable, we’re also offering the option of combining both levels of the data journalism courses, with our ‘Deep Dive into Data Journalism’: a package of both courses with a structured progression to build on your learning, and a 10% discount on the overall booking fee.
