Front Page Feature for #CIJMasterclass 2021 Alumnus

An alumnus of the #CIJMasterclass 2021 programme has contributed to a front page story for The Times. Hamzah Khalique-Loonat, who attended the training sessions curated by Stephen Grey of Reuters, was one of four journalists investigating companies that have been set up to claim emergency pandemic funds through the government’s furlough scheme. The story was published on the front page of 11 November edition of the paper. Before his current role as a Graduate Trainee at The Times, Hamzah gained experience across a range of journalism outlets, including Thomson Reuters, The Mirror, PA Media and Al Jazeera.
