#CIJSummer conference is open to all, but we charge booking fees on a sliding scale to ensure that larger newsrooms subsidise places for small organisations, freelancers and students.
Early-Bird rates (valid until Wed 24 April 2024, after which date full rates will apply):
- Students: £103 instead of full price of £115
- Freelancers*: £152 instead of full price of £169
- Small Media/Education/NonProfit Organisations (<10 staff): £242 instead of full price of £269
- Large Media/Education/NonProfit Organisations (10+ staff): £377 instead of full price of £419
- Other Organisations: £619 instead of full price of £688
Organisations rates: The price of the tickets is based on the size of your organisation. Please select the size of your organisation, and then choose how many tickets of each type you would like to order in the quantity box. You can order more than one ticket if, for instance, you’re ordering tickets for multiple people in your organisation, but you will need to contact us at info@tcij.org to provide details for the other attendees.
*If you are unemployed, retired, or if your media/education/non-profit employer is not paying for or refunding your ticket, please register at the Freelancer rate. Note that we are a small charity and rely on your honesty so please do not register as a freelancer if your employer is reimbursing you for the course.
Bookings are non-refundable
CIJ is a registered charity and we do not make profits on our courses, all money raised is used to organise training at prices well below the market rate. Ordinarily, ticket sales pay for organising #CIJSummer.
