Investigative Journalism Summer Conference
Where new tools meet traditional craft
04 – 06 July 2019

Maeve McClenaghan (The Bureau Local and The Tip Off Podcast), Lois Kapila (Dublin Inquirer) and Tom Bristow (Eastern Daily Press).

Council estates are being knocked down to build luxury developments and ‘affordable’ housing is out of reach of those that most need it. Meanwhile the number of homeless on the streets and people in temporary accommodation is growing. Our three panellists have independently researched the social cost of this and the impact on people’s lives and will be discussing their methods of translating investigations into impact.

This was a talk given at the CIJ’s Summer Investigative Journalism Conference in 2019. See other recorded talks here.
