Cícero Pedrosa
Cícero Pedrosa Neto holds a master’s in sociology and anthropology from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Since 2018, he has been a multimedia reporter at the Amazônia Real agency, working on topics related to the environment, socio-environmental impacts of mining, quilombola populations, indigenous populations and agrarian conflicts. He has collaborated with international outlets such as DW, The Bureau, The Guardian and the podcast El Hilo. In 2019 he was one of the journalists awarded the 41st Vladimir Herzog Prize in the multimedia category with the series “Sem Direitos: o rosto da exclusão social no Brasil” (Without Rights: the face of social exclusion in Brazil).
