Story-Based Inquiry Method – New Course Dates

This is one of our longest-running courses. Following on from its success at the 2020 #CIJSummer Conference, we’ve just confirmed two new opportunities for you to study the Story-Based Inquiry method and apply it to your investigative research.

This methodology has been successfully used by thousands of journalists, academics and NGO researchers since its publication by UNESCO in 2009. The method can be used for feature writing or documentary filmmaking as well as reportage. Its language and approach have been integrated into leading journalism organisations and NGOs worldwide.

In order to accommodate different learning styles and work patterns, we now have two different formats for this course: one running across a full month with a weekly session and a chance to begin applying the learning to your projects in between classes, and another intensive course that gives you everything you need to put the methods into practice within a week.
