Media Consortium Annual Conference

    Gavin MacFadyen, director of the CIJ will be taking part in a one-day workshop on secrecy and surveillance, as part of the Media Consortium's No Secrets: Journalism in the Age of Surveillance Workshop.

    Subjects being discussed will be NSA Surveillance and the Use and Abuse of Whistleblowers.

    The Media Consortium's Annual Conference is a three-day event held in Chicago, that offers workshops, a conference and networking oppotunities for decision makers from the leading independent news organisations.
