CIJ Summer Conference Keynote Day - Bursary Places

    The annual Summer Conference is the CIJ's largest training event and will be taking place at the beginning of July at Goldsmiths University of London.

    The third day, Saturday 4 July will feature keynote talks and discussions from some of the leading journalists in the UK and internationally, including Heidi Blake (BuzzFeed), Alexa O'Brien (US investigative journalist, specialising in security issues), Richard Stallman (free software movement), Daivd Leigh (formerly of The Guardian) and James Oliver (BBC Panorama), Juliana Ruhfus and more.

    They will be talking about FIFA, HSBC Leaks, information security and surveillance, Chelsea Manning, new ways of doing investigative journalism and much more.   

    This year, we are providing 20 tickets to attend on the Saturday at a discounted cost of £45. The places are open to all UK students on journalism or related media courses. (Tickets include a speakers and delegates lunch on Sat 4 July).
